Walter Payton was the ultimate back w/ all the tools, great hands,good blocker and can also throw the ball. Rarely injured and can take a hit. Sweetness was the greatest.

Sweetness had all of the tools - strength, speed, shiftinesss, great hands and he could block. He was the ultimate team guy even though he was the team's best player. Dickerson, while a great ballcarrier, did not have all of Walter's tools.
he was a very hard runner.
Dckerson was a better rusher
Stronger runner...better receiver and blocker. Didnt like to run outta bounds,,would rather take a tackler head-on!! One of the top 5 of all-time!!
Payton was a better overall back.
